This organisation can have a positive influence on the community attitudes as the organisation does all they can to portray the youth of NSW in a positive and well-behaved light, while still acknowledging that a portion of this group do not conform to this pattern and therefore exhibiting a genuine nature and making it easier for the community to adopt their way of thinking; that being that not all youth are delinquents.
This organisation not only portrays this group in a positive way, but works to assist those who are not particularly model citizens and improve their standing in the community, therefore improving that area's perception of youth as a whole.
The community's attitude towards youth can also be improved in the way the organisation provides these young people with internships and other employment that not only demonstrates the responsibility of these people for having a rather respectable job in the first place, but also in the articles they write and the nature of these being rather academic and informed, reducing the number of people who perceive youth as unemployed delinquents.
Additionally, Youth Action utilises alternate media reports and articles to promote youth at their best and to add on to these articles in a way that provides a more positive outlook on a negative report that does not excuse the behaviour or actions of the youth, but rather promotes the organisation's work by explaining how it can prevent such occurrences from continuing to happen.
